Viresh, an articulate founder of
Installshield elevated it to become the acknowledged
leader of innovative internet-enabled software
distribution and installation deployment solutions.
Installshield is a software tool for creating software
packages; its products are standardized and are well
recognized in the industry by ISV’s and developers. The
privately held, global company was founded in 1987 and
later in 2004 Macrovision Corporation purchased the
self-funded company and got benefited from
Installshield’s market leadership and strong brand
loyalty.
Viresh, has also been recognized by top Chicago business publication, Crain's
Chicago Business, as a driving force in Chicago's technology arena. He has
received multiple industry awards including KPMG’s “Illinois High Tech Award”,
Ernst and Young’s “Software Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and a mention in
Silicon India Magazine’s “Top 100”.
Viresh is also a member of the Northwestern
University McCormick School of Engineering's Advisory
Board, and the former president of Tie Midwest, which
bridge gaps between members and the community and foster
entrepreneurs to present their business plans and gain
invaluable insights. Viresh earned a BS degree in
computer Science from Northwestern University.
